Hi! I’m Gordana Popovic, your pet photographer. I live and work near Zagreb, and that’s where my studio is, but I can extend my services to whole Croatia and even further. Photography is my passion, and animals are my favourite inspiration and motivation. Through the lens I look for and record magical moments of connection between people and their pets. Dogs and cats were always a part of my family, and in the last 15 years I have shared my love with associations for rehoming abandoned animals.

Biggest challenge is to catch those emotional moments of trust and bond between a man his four-legged friend, to capture that true nobility and understanding that animals carry in their look, instinct, freedom and pure spirit. I believe our beloved pets are here to help us people find ourselves and go back to the basic life values which we tend to forget in this high paced world. That goodness and generosity have a special place in our hearts and the animal presence in our lives is priceless.

The whole process of family and commercial photography makes me truly happy. My intent isn’t to capture the reality, but to show that magical view from my perspective, and which isn’t obvious to everyone. I use photographs to create a mosaic of the whole pallet of emotions that stay with us and eventually become core memories. I have a small but extremely valuable team of allies that has stood by me for years and without whom I couldn’t even imagine what I’m doing today.

Pet Almighty Photography

„Pet Almighty Photography“ started in 2021 when I decided to dedicate everything I know and have to all the beloved pets who have passed through my life and to those who are still with me, so we can celebrate the unconditional love of all pets that stand in front of my lens.

All of this would be impossible without the immense support I get from my Grga who cares about all the technical and logistic solutions, and an indispensable part of Pet Almighty Team are our five pets (Lula, Pero, Fifa, Yoyo, Poppy and Mike) and our angel Zippy, who’s watching over us from the Rainbow Bridge.
